Hotel Alpenblick Muerren - Murren

Some rooms lack a valley view!!! A ceiling fan could easily improve comfort when it's hot!!! Not every room matches the fine scenery, and that's a letdown when expectations are high!!!

My triple room was available with a safe, central heating, and a work desk. Walk from the train station, the location was incredible and amazing, right by a train stop.

All the wonderful things you read about the views from the rooms are accurate...it's beautiful. It's also an easy walk from the train station. Lastly, the lady who runs the hotel, Heidi, is very sweet and helpful.

Nice hotel with great amenities like wi-fi, ski storage, and a delicious restaurant. The staff even helped find my lost ring! I recommend the homemade rösti for breakfast. I'm coming back for a weekend.

Older property. Our room had an unusual odor- we thought somene might have spilled juice from a can of sardines. The good tables with a view at dinner were reserved by regulars, making us feel as though we were in the second class seating section.

loved our stay, would recommend this place. we've chosen this well-maintained hotel for staying here with our family. everything was very comfortable, even so a few employees were nasty. the location was unbeatable and incredible, not too far away from allmendhubel observation deck.

The cozy decor throughout the hotel and cute atmosphere. I especially loved the large balcony with fine views of the Bernese Alps.

An in-room kettle would enhance the experience.

The hotel has an awesome view on the mountains, and feels really cosy - not like a chain hotel at all. We had the farmer's and cheese roesti for dinner - really nice! Try getting a room on the front of hotel facing the mountains.

The view from the room/deck was breathtaking--morning's first sun on the Bernese Alps! Quiet, comfortable, very clean room and good breakfast. Staff helpful. Would book here again!

Lovely Stay with Fine Views!

Staying here was a dream come true! The family suite was spacious and provided amazing views. Enjoyed breakfast by the small stream, soothing. The staff were helpful, providing us with local tips. Pro tip, don't miss the sunset from the balcony!

Very nice and helpful staff. I love the breakfast. I can see the snow mountian just outside the window. Murren is really quiet and nice. The traffic is convenient. HOtel is very close to the train station. Room is clean and nice, big for one person. In all, I enjoyed my stay there very much! Hope to go there again.

fantastic location facing Jungfrau, Monch, Eiger mountains in beautiful village of Murren, Switzerland. Top floor room with large windows and balcony had dramatic view of mountains day and night. Small comfortable inn with warm, friendly, helpful owners/chef. Delicious, freshly prepared food was very reasonably priced - try the half fried chicken with frites or pork escallops with mushrooms & cream with pasta. Good breakfast. Most guests return year after year.

no lifts a bit confuse to find the hotel because of the signs at the station so make sure you read the signs carefully

The hotel is located very near the train station, making it very convenient for travel in the area. The owners, Heidi and Fritz were wonderful.

The fact that there was no lift, and our room was on the fourth floor. We were traveling with two very large suitcases which presented a problem on arrival and on leaving. This is definately NOT a hotel for anyone with a handicap.
